Iguazu Falls

The powerful and imposing Iguazu Falls are unlike any other waterfall on Earth. Consisting of a system of 275 waterfalls, they are nearly twice as tall and almost three times as wide as the Niagara Falls. They were selected as one of “New Seven Wonders of Nature” in a worldwide competition with over 100 million voters, and declared Mankind´s Natural Heritage by the United Nations because of their uniqueness.

Argentina boasts eighty percent of the falls, including the most impressive Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Brazil takes the remaining twenty percent and lets you get up close to them, so it’s worth visiting both sides.

The location of the Falls, amid a tropical jungle, makes them a beautiful natural environment that should be visited at least once in a lifetime.
